Passive agressive vacuuming.

As the mother of four small children I have very little privacy. Over the years I have tried various methods of acquiring alone time, but they have all been relatively unsuccessful. Over the past year or so I have stumbled on a curious phenomenon. Whenever I turn on the vacuum the room clears almost instantly. No one asks for anything! The loud hum of the vacuum coupled with the scowl of concentration on my face seems to be the only thing that allows me a few precious moments to myself. I have also figured out that if I leave the vacuum on even after I have finished, I can sit down for a few minutes or put in a load of laundry in peace. I figure in life you should celebrate your small victories, so here's to dyson, threadbare carpets and a few deep breaths.

Blog Blah Blah

I have decided to give blogging another go, chiefly because I have thoughts to share and no one but my puggle to share them with.
